Support for trainees
The delivery of post graduate training is a collaboration between the colleges, SA Health, private practice, RDWA, Universities and other medical bodies. Many of these provide a variety of support services across mental health, education and training, financial, advocacy and employment that are specific to medical practitioners. Other publicly available support services may also be accessed. Here you will find a list of sites and services to support your training journey.
Advice for trainees
Clinical Lead and Clinical Advisors have also been engaged to inform, improve and drive the program by improving training outcomes and experiences of Rural Generalist trainees. They will advocate and support the uptake of advanced skills training for general practitioners in rural and regional South Australia and will provide mentorship and on-going support to general practice trainees and general practitioners who are undertaking advanced skills training as part of the Rural Generalist Program South Australian (RGPSA).
